To thank its supporters for reaching the organization’s goal-installing 12 to 14 pieces of major public art in Hunt County-the art group is planning a come-and-go celebration party at a private home on February 9th, 2019 from 6:00-9:00 p.m.
”We’re excited to celebrate the completion of our mission, which has gone even better than we possibly could have imagined,” said Byron Taylor, one of the founders of Hunt County Public Art, a Greenville Chamber of Commerce Foundation project. “The before-and-after difference artwork has made in Hunt County, especially downtown Greenville, has been amazing to watch.”
At the private event February 9th, the two public art projects concepts for 2019 will be unveiled. Laura Irrgang will be painting a mural and Pamela Edwards will create a mosaic, both in downtown Greenville.
