Lord, my windows are filthy. Ignore that part. I blame that on my husband, by the way. The man always ends his hand washing with a big, flicking motion directed at the windows. So, my windows are always sprayed with water droplets. Thanks, honey---now I look like a lazy housewife.
But back to my bud vases....aren't they cute? They're just perfect for a tiny rose. My roses are pretty, but they aren't the long-stemmed tea variety. They grow on fat clusters at the tip of the branch. If I want to cut them separately, I only have a 3 or 4 inch stem to work with. That makes these bud vases perfect!
My favorite rose bush is called "Joseph's Climbing Coat". All the flowers come out different colors. They have shades that range from orange to yellow to pink to deep coral. Isn't that neat? I always get excited when there are a bunch of new buds. I can't wait to see what color they'll be.
